Atelier Nord
A small Los Angeles studio designing residences and hospitality interiors with honest materials, soft light, and a delivery process you can plan around.
Residential and commercial, Los Angeles
The studio
We design calm, tactile interiors for people who intend to stay a long while, and we finish what we draw.
Primary residences and full renovations across the Westside, the canyons, and the eastside hills. We work from plaster and oak outward, choosing few materials and using them well, so a house feels settled the day the last crate is opened.
Boutique residential developments, small hotels, and dining rooms. Developers get drawings that survive pricing, a materials library that holds up to real traffic, and a studio that answers the site questions the same week they arrive.

A small hotel detailed for daily wear, warm at night and soft at breakfast.
Amenity floor and eight model units
A material palette that priced cleanly and read generously in every unit.
Full project sets, plans, and material samples are shared in the first meeting, matched to the kind of work you have in front of you.
How we work
The studio takes a small number of projects at a time. You always know which phase you are in, what is being decided, and what is due from us next.
Every phase ends with a set of drawings, a material board, and a written decision list.
Commercial and hospitality programs are phased to your construction dates.

What clients ask
Full residences and renovations from around two thousand square feet, and boutique commercial work from a single dining room to a fourteen room hotel. Smaller single room commissions are considered when the studio calendar allows.
A fixed design fee is set after discovery, based on scope and square footage, and billed across the four phases. Procurement and construction support are quoted separately so you can see exactly what each part costs.
Design usually runs four to five months from discovery to a fully documented set. Construction and delivery depend on your builder and permits, and we schedule our site presence around their program.
Yes, and we prefer to join early. We coordinate directly with the architect, the builder, and the trades, and we keep one shared decision list so nobody is designing from an old drawing.
Regularly. Developers get phasing that matches their draw schedule, a material palette that prices cleanly, and specifications written for repetition across units.
You hear from the studio within two business days. Inquiries are reviewed for fit and current availability, and if the timing is wrong we say so plainly rather than holding your project in a queue.
