The studio
We design calm, tactile interiors for people who intend to stay a long while, and we finish what we draw.
Residential practice
Primary residences and full renovations across the Westside, the canyons, and the eastside hills. We work from plaster and oak outward, choosing few materials and using them well, so a house feels settled the day the last crate is opened.
Commercial practice
Boutique residential developments, small hotels, and dining rooms. Developers get drawings that survive pricing, a materials library that holds up to real traffic, and a studio that answers the site questions the same week they arrive.

How we work
Four phases, each one closed before the next begins
The studio takes a small number of projects at a time. You always know which phase you are in, what is being decided, and what is due from us next.
- 01DiscoveryWe walk the property, measure, and listen. You leave with a scope, a fee, and a schedule.
- 02ConceptPlans, light studies, and a first material palette you can hold in your hands.
- 03DocumentationDetailed drawings, joinery, and specifications priced with your builder before work starts.
- 04DeliverySite visits, procurement, and installation, through to the day the rooms are lived in.
Every phase ends with a set of drawings, a material board, and a written decision list.

Scope, fees, and timing, answered plainly
What size of project do you take on?
Full residences and renovations from around two thousand square feet, and boutique commercial work from a single dining room to a fourteen room hotel. Smaller single room commissions are considered when the studio calendar allows.
How is the fee structured?
A fixed design fee is set after discovery, based on scope and square footage, and billed across the four phases. Procurement and construction support are quoted separately so you can see exactly what each part costs.
How long does a project take?
Design usually runs four to five months from discovery to a fully documented set. Construction and delivery depend on your builder and permits, and we schedule our site presence around their program.
Do you work with our architect and builder?
Yes, and we prefer to join early. We coordinate directly with the architect, the builder, and the trades, and we keep one shared decision list so nobody is designing from an old drawing.
Do you take developer projects?
Regularly. Developers get phasing that matches their draw schedule, a material palette that prices cleanly, and specifications written for repetition across units.
What happens after I send an inquiry?
You hear from the studio within two business days. Inquiries are reviewed for fit and current availability, and if the timing is wrong we say so plainly rather than holding your project in a queue.
